Via email, we got this note:
Very nice. Add some RSS feeds, search and folksonomy tags like technorati and you'd really have something.
...to which, I sent this reply:
You bet. We're definitely still at 1.0 (or less) and are pondering new features. Search is probably next.Tell me how you imagine the folksonomy tags would work. Would we look for those in our sources' RSS feeds (rely on them) - or would we create our own by indexed each post by each uncommon word (excluding the, and, or, but, etc.) in the text?
Also, I'm really interested in providing an RSS feed - but then people could just subscribe to it and not visit the site. A nice public service, but it would wipe out the revenue model. (Which, admittedly, is not the reason to do the site - but I'm anticipating large bandwidth.) I'll have to ponder options. Any ideas would be welcome.
Ideas?

I could not see any other place to contact you - where do we go if one of the blogs listed is actually a conservative blog and not a "lefty"?
GREAT SITE!

"Via email"? I didn't see your email here...did I just miss it?
I'd like to see rss feeds for each state. If you really need revenue, then just provide summaries and let them click on the entry and get to the site to see the whole thing...

TJ - you can find a contact link over at MandateMedia.com
If there's a conservative blog, do let me know - we'll pull 'em off fast.

Hi:
We recently upgraded our template on Blogger and lost the links to all the blog postings we used to get from you. How do we restore that function?

Hello,
I looked at your blog today and found it very interesting. I am one of the founding members of EngageMN.com and we are striving to be a voice for the Muslim community in the Twin Cities. We came across your blog recently and found it to be very well done. Our group would like to add a few more links on our blog roll and we would like to put a link to The Usual Suspects on our webpage.
We invite you to visit our blog and read our articles as this will give you a better idea of our vision. We look forward to your response.
Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Thasneem Ahmed

Hi;
I draw a weekly political cartoon, and was wondering if you would like to trade links. My cartoons can be seen at my website http://www.whatnowtoons.com
Thom Hartman,Randi Rhodes, and others have promoted my site on their programs.
Check it out.
Thanks
Keith

Couldn't find your email address on the page. I moved to Minnesota, but you still have my blog, Blanton's and Ashton's, listed as a Jersey blog.
Also, I'm not really doing much of any local stuff anymore. You should change my blogroll listing.
