We've gotten a number of complaints/concerns from folks when it comes to blogs overwhelming the BlogWire. Basically, it comes up when a single blog goes nuts and posts 10-15 items all at once - and they shove everything else down off the BlogWire.
Originally, we were going to do a simple logic change to make it so that only the most recent post from each blog was listed in the BlogWire -- but that doesn't work for states where there's only a half-dozen blogs in the mix. (Since they'd want to see more than just one post apiece.)
So, it's a bit more complicated, but here's how it works. Remember that you can customize how many headlines appear in your BlogWire. So, if you have less than 10 headlines, you'll only see one headline per blog. 10-20? Then, two headlines per blog. More than 20, three headlines per blog.
This should be a good system - at most folks will see three headlines from a single blog; and no blog can completely overwhelm the BlogWire.
Let's hear your feedback.
