Over the weekend, we re-wrote the code that analyzes Atom feeds. Things are updating much faster now, which allows us to add more blogs to the LeftyBlogs system. (We were using someone else's code, but if you want a job done right...)
There does appear to be one inexplicable glitch/bug. A small handful of blogs have stopped updating since then. We're not sure of the cause, but it appears to be temporary. That implies that it's a problem caused by something that is appearing in individual posts.
We're looking into it -- and hope to have an answer/fix soon. Hang in there, folks. Just keep on blogging.

Hey, I was considering advertising on your site but only wanted to target my state (i.e. leftyblogs.com/virginia). I didn't see an option for this for your Blog ads. Is that possible? - Thanks

Belated answer (and off-topic, but oh well)... at this point, we don't have state-by-state blogads. The traffic just doesn't justify it yet.
That said, don't forget that there are lots of folks around the country who would want to be exposed to your blog... so advertise nationwide, baby!

Feed still not working. If feed works at all, only headlines are transmitted and they all go to the non-local section.

A small handful of blogs have stopped updating since then. I'm assuming this is why my blog isn't being updated?? I noticed mine and a few others haven't updated since Jan 21, yet I know I blog daily. Thanks!

The RSS feed isn't working either. The Atom feed still hasn't updated since 1/21 for Brewtown Politico. Any update on this bug? Thanks for your help.

Hi, I have created a new rss feed for my blog thru feedburner since the bug seems to be a problem. Any way of getting the new feed on this site so my blog is updated again?
I couldn't locate an email address, and can't find previous emails you had sent me to reply to those.
