Blogger Slowdowns
Hey folks... we're getting quite a few reports that there's some kind of inexplicable problem with the atom.xml feeds from Blogger.
As a result, your blog may not update on LeftyBlogs.com for several hours at a time -- and then update multiple posts all at once. It may even cause your blog to disappear entirely, but intermittently.
We're working on it, but mostly it's going to be about waiting for Blogger to fix things at their end.
In any case, don't freak out unless and until your blog has disappeared from LeftyBlogs.com for 36 hours or more.
We'll keep ya posted when and if we know more.

Are there any restrictions or would you allow anyone who claims to be "lefty" link their blog here? Because there is one that is obviously very "righty".

my blog has also not posted, i'm not using blogger, it shows up in the sidebars of the leftyblogs feeds for Georgia but not in the main list on the website leftyblogs.com

My blog, DC Metro Action, has not updated for a VERY long time - if there is a problem w/Blogger's Atom feed, maybe use this: http://feeds.feedburner.com/DcMetroAction

It hasn't been a day or so, but over the past few weeks I've noticed problems with my Blogger blog not updating. One time I seemed to correct the problem by removing some random HTML the Blogger WYSIWYG had put in my posts, but that doesn't seem to help this time around. I've setup a Feedburner feed (http://feeds.feedburner.com/GoldenDome) in hopes that may correct the problem. Let me know.

Hi,
My blog is hosted on blogger and hasn't been updated here since January. I created a need rss for it on feedburner, but your site doesn't accept that.
I'm stuck as to what to do since atom from blogger doesn't seem to work and you dont' accept feedburner.
Bloglines and other rss readers can read my feed, so not sure why leftyblogs can't. :(

My RSS feed was messed up yesterday and so it wasn't showing up on Lefty Blogs. I found the glitch but it has been over 24 hours. Help!

Is it possible that the right-wing blogosphere is somehow hijacking blogger.com's feeds and screwing it up somehow - these people are engaged in a whole lot of really slick chicanery and I wouldn't put it past them. I haven't seen my blog come up here in a while.
Also, some posts actually do reference events in Washington state, but they don't come up in the local blogroll. Is there a way to force it?

I've just noticed my lefty blogs account has not updated a post from my blog since 8/22/06 - about 10 days ago.
That would be over the 36 hour freak-out point, right?

I'm with scott here, it's been down for weeks. Can I add a custom feed to work around the Atom feed? No need to wait for blogger to fix their stupid problems.

My posts haven't appeared here in more than ten days. (I'm assuming that Al Gore, Ophelia Ford, etc. are Tennesssee related in your system.)
At the best of times, only some of my Tennessee related posts make it on to LeftyBlogs. Here's hoping the best of times comes back.

Hi,
My blog was an early MA lefty blog, but was on hiatus for a long time. I am back now, posting a mix of state and national stuff. But posts don't seem to be coming through.
Is there anything you can do on your end, or do I need to ask my web mistress to do something specific to fix it?

My blog, http://lehighvalleyramblings.blogspot.com, is a Pa. blog. On Friday, my posts stopped appearing here. I checked both local and all as you suggest, and the posts just aren't making it.
